Vertical kneading machine introduction:
The vertical Kneader is a heavy kneading equipment with two spiral kneading blades. One blade rotates in a planetary motion around the other blade, and the two blades continuously adhere and peel. The material is continuously sheared, squeezed, stretched, and torn into thin sheets between the blades, as well as in the shear zone formed between the blades and the inner wall of the kettle body, under the effects of high shear, stretching, diversion, overlap, folding, and axial circulation. Vertical Kneader reactor is mainly used in chemical production fields such as silicone rubber, glass glue, butyl rubber, Hot-melt adhesive, etc. It can achieve perfect kneading, mixing, vulcanization, polymerization, etc. for high viscosity (over 800000 CPs) and elastoplastic materials.
This machine is mainly equipped with kneading system, vacuum system, temperature control system, and electronic control system. At present, vertical Kneader reactor tends to replace horizontal Kneader reactor.
Compared with horizontal Kneader, vertical Kneader has the following obvious advantages.
① The kneading blade operates in a planetary manner inside the kettle, with sufficient mixing and no dead corners;
② The kneading blade is suspended in the material through bearings and shafts, and other components rarely come into direct contact with the material, resulting in almost no pollution to the material. It can also solve safety problems caused by material contamination of bearings and sealing structures.
③ Can achieve effective vacuum control inside the kettle, with a minimum vacuum degree of -0.098MPa.
④ After kneading, the hydraulic system is used to lift the kneading system or lower the barrel, and the material is taken out of the barrel through the discharge system.
⑤ If the material contains certain flammable and explosive chemical materials, severe impact and excessive temperature may cause it to explode, such as solid propellants, aluminum powder, etc. During the mixing process, it is necessary to effectively control the occurrence of chemical thermal reactions, mechanical friction, sudden impacts, and other phenomena. The vertical Kneader reactor can effectively control the material temperature through the barrel jacket and temperature control system. The kneading blade can reach a reasonable range of meshing gap between the blades through geometric modeling and spatial layout, so as to meet the basic safety and reliability.
