The Vertical Bead Mill features an innovative vertical structural design with a vertically installed main shaft for stable operation. Its core lies in the screenless design, equipped with a unique centrifugal separation system that prevents clogging and allows for the use of finer grinding beads, easily achieving nano-grade fineness (e.g., D50 ≤ 30nm). This mill offers high grinding media utilization, easy maintenance (the grinding barrel can be automatically lifted), and incorporates a Permanent Magnet Direct Drive motor, reducing energy consumption by 20-30% compared to traditional equipment. It is widely used in high-tech fields such as electronic materials, new energy batteries, and advanced ceramics.
Working Principle
The working principle of the Vertical Bead Mill is that a motor drives the rotor to rotate at high speed within the vertical grinding chamber, agitating the grinding media (e.g., zirconia beads) to generate strong collision, friction, and shear forces for dispersing and grinding the material. The key is the centrifugal separation system: under centrifugal force, qualified fine material (experiencing centrifugal force less than pump pressure) is smoothly discharged, while the grinding media (experiencing centrifugal force greater than pump pressure) is securely contained within the chamber. This enables effective material-media separation and screenless continuous operation.
