Mixing kettle

A mixing tank is a device used for material mixing, dispersion, homogenization, and storage, widely used in industries such as coatings, inks, chemicals, food, pharmaceuticals, and electronic pastes. It is mainly used for pre-mixing before grinding and slurry preparation after grinding, ensuring uniform dispersion of materials and improving production efficiency.

 

Working Principle of Mixing Kettle

 

1️⃣ Feeding: Liquids, powders, or slurries are added into the mixing tank.
2️⃣ Mixing and Dispersion:

Materials are thoroughly mixed using mechanical stirrers (such as anchor type, paddle type, frame type, dispersing disc, etc.).

Optional high-speed dispersers or emulsifiers can be added to enhance the dispersion effect and prevent settling.
3️⃣ Circulation and Temperature Control (optional):

The jacket heating/cooling system can regulate temperature, suitable for special process requirements.

A pumping system can be connected for circulation, improving mixing uniformity.
4️⃣ Discharge: The uniformly mixed slurry is discharged through the bottom or side outlet to the next process, such as grinding, filling, etc.
