Dual Shaft Mixer

Concentric two-axis mixer is an efficient mixing equipment with a unique two-axis concentric design, which is mainly used for processing medium and high viscosity materials and high mixing uniformity requirements. There are two sets of mixing shafting in the simplified system: high speed mixing and low speed mixing, and the main axes are in the center of the container, that is: concentric double-shaft mixer.

Main Frame

 

 

(1) Main body of the framework
Material: High-strength carbon steel or stainless steel is usually used to ensure the bearing capacity and corrosion resistance of the frame.
Structural design: The frame is welded or spliced to ensure the overall stability and strength.
Function: To provide support for each component of the equipment, to carry the weight of the mixer, the drive device and the material tank.
(2) Driving device
Main motor: provides power for the mixing system and drives two mixing shafts to operate synchronously or independently.
Reducer: According to the material viscosity and process requirements to adjust the mixing speed, generally using hard gear reducer to improve durability.
Transmission mechanism: gear or belt drive is used to ensure the synchronous operation of the two axes and avoid speed deviation.

(3) concentric biaxial system
Inner shaft: usually used for high-speed dispersion or mixing, suitable for refining and mixing materials.
External shaft: used for low-speed mixing to promote the circulation of materials and avoid dead corners.
Concentric design: internal and external axes are installed coaxial, saving space and improving equipment operation efficiency.

(4) Lifting device (optional)
Function: Used to adjust the height of the mixing device to adapt to different specifications of the mixing container.

The double planet experimental mixer (2L-30L) will be equipped with a vacuum pump, and the production mixer larger than 30L will not be equipped with a vacuum pump, because we default that the production workshop will have a vacuum source, if we need to bring a vacuum pump, please inform us in advance.

 

Can double planets heat/cool materials?

The barrel of the double-planet mixer is jacketed, and water or oil can be added to heat or cool the material.
