Why should lithium battery pole piece manufacturing have a good vacuum sealing system?

Mixers need a good vacuum containment system for three main reasons:

①During the whole mixing process, due to the frequent collision and friction between the materials, as well as the friction between the agitator and the material, more heat will be generated, resulting in an increase in temperature. The rise of temperature will cause some solvents to volatilize and produce a lot of irritating odors, such as NMP, PVDF, etc. Organic gases have great harm to the human body.

②In the dry powder premixing stage, if the airtight system is not good enough, dust will spread everywhere, damage the working environment, affect product quality and cause harm to employees.

③There are large voids inside the powder. After mixing with the solvent, there must be many bubbles inside the slurry. The slurry needs to be defoamed before coating the pole piece. Otherwise, bubbles will burst during the coating process, and the surface density will be different or even the foil will be exposed, which is extremely unfavorable to the performance of the battery.
