Water-based ink is primarily composed of water-soluble resins, organic pigments, solvents, and related additives, produced through compounding and grinding. It has two distinct characteristics: low viscosity and good fluidity, and environmental friendliness.

 

Water-based ink products are non-toxic, non-corrosive, and free of irritating odors. They are non-flammable, non-explosive, and safe, making them easy to transport. With low viscosity and excellent print adaptability, they offer stable performance, strong adhesion, and fast drying. Once dried, they exhibit water resistance, alkali resistance, superior adhesion, and outstanding abrasion resistance.

 

Production and manufacturing process of water-based ink

 

1. Initial Mixing: First, according to the formulation requirements, accurately weigh and add all required materials into the dispersion kettle. Thoroughly mix and disperse until uniform.

2. Pigment Dispersion: Precisely measure the pigments and defoamer as per the formula, then add them to the dispersion kettle. Mix and disperse thoroughly until a homogeneous mixture is achieved.

3. Grinding Process: Transfer the dispersed mixture to a sand mill for grinding. Repeat the grinding process 3–4 times, checking fineness each time. Continue grinding until the desired particle size is reached.

4. Final Blending: Transfer the ground material back to the dispersion kettle. Then, sequentially add the remaining components as specified in the formula. Mix thoroughly until a fully uniform and stable dispersion is obtained.
