The problem of graphene as a conductive agent
Sep 09, 2022
For the practical application of graphene conductive agents, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the "surface-to-point" promotion effect of graphene on electronic conductivity and the "steric hindrance effect" on ionic conduction;
The thickness of the electrode is designed in consideration of the amount of conductive agent and the energy/power density of the final battery.
For LFP system Li-ion batteries, due to the very strong influence of graphene on Li-ion transport, special attention should be paid to the thickness of the electrodes.
