What Should I Do If The Temperature Of The Horizontal Sand Mill Is Too High?
Nov 14, 2021
The temperature of the horizontal sand mill is too high, in addition to the characteristics of the abrasive slurry and the process structure of the sand mill, the following aspects must be considered:
1. The temperature of the grinding slurry in the pre-dispersion stage should be well controlled. If the temperature of the slurry is too high due to the pre-dispersion time process, the slurry should be cooled down and then passed through the sand mill.
2. Although the slurry temperature in the pre-dispersion stage is not very high, once it passes through the sand mill, the slurry temperature in the grinding chamber will soon exceed the protection temperature, causing the sand mill to stop the warp protection. In this case, based on the knowledge of chemical principles, we can know that under certain conditions of slurry viscosity, initial temperature, grinding medium loading, and motor speed, the temperature of the grinding slurry rises and the time the slurry stays in the grinding cavity Therefore, when encountering this situation, we can appropriately increase the speed of the feed pump, shorten the residence time of the slurry in the grinding chamber, and reduce the heat generated per unit time, thereby reducing the temperature of the sanding slurry.
3. When the temperature of the sand mill is too high, the chiller can also be used to provide cooling water circulating water below 10 degrees Celsius to cool down.
4. Sometimes the high temperature of the sand mill may also be caused by too much grinding media. The filling amount of grinding media can be appropriately reduced.
